Make sure your cable setup is correct. I had to order an upgraded modem to fully benefit my two issues are:
1. When the tv is paused the soundbar turns off after a short period and has to turned on by its own remote
2. Will not connect to my U-Verse remote.

I got this 4 a bday present from parents about 2 or so years ago and has worked decent up until a few days ago I noticed it started to switch modes on it's own and has only increased in doing so. It has gotten to the point it is just a blurr on the digital display it is switching so fast. It has only gotten worse and now it is even muting itself and I have no control over it. I have tried resetting it, unplugging it 4 a few hours, nothing seems to be working. If anyone has had the same problem plz let me know if like 2 get a few more years out of this device.

I really like this sound bar despite people saying there are issues with Bluetooth skipping (I don't use BT). The deal breaker for me is that the speakers get tinny when there is a high pitch sound and the volume is above 20. That should not happen in any product.

There is a audio sync feature available but there is no easy way to sync audio to overcome lag generated by optical cable. There should be some documentation to explain how to sync properly

I chose the Samsung HW-K450 sound bar to compliment my new Samsung 43" 7000 series UHD tv residing in our master bedroom after doing some research and comparing the sound in the store. It checked all of my boxes with it being stylish, budget friendly, and big on performance.
Setup was a breeze! The tv, sound bar, and sub-woofer paired via Bluetooth instantly. The setup menu on my Samsung 7000 series tv added "surround" as a category and the equalizer function upgraded to include the woofer. Everything was plug and play with nothing left to do but enjoy.
Action movies, sports, and music videos all come alive. Your universe opens up once you hear the power and clarity of this300w, budget friendly sound bar and sub-woofer.
The sound is rich and dimensional. The sub-woofer is on par for the price range delivering a thumping bass range that won't disappoint the average adult listener.
The only other thing that I could recommend is to add the SWA-8000S Wireless Surround kit but at this time I am pleased with it.

Great sound for a small room. The controls for the Treble & bass work to makes the sound full and easy to listen. But problem when you connecting with Bluetooth its not working properly. I buy two because of great sound quality .

My husband and I bought this soundbar today and got it all hooked up. Tried some music channels first to get the full effect of the sound. Most music sounded amazing and the subwoofer sounds excellent. However we are noticing some crackling from the speakers during some vocals coming through the soundbar. We have the bass and treble turned down to zero on the bar itself, so I'm not sure why we are hearing any crackling. Going to watch some different channels and try some different music. We listen to country and soft rock mostly so nothing that should be causing the speakers to crackle. I have a feeling we will be using the samsung warranty but I sure hope we don't have to!

This sound bar was easy to set up and synced right away with all my equipment and the woofer. Found out getting a top of the line digital optical cable makes a huge difference, not only in setup, but in sound quality. If you have a Roku it is better not to use the app as it does not render as well. Go directly to the HDMI where it is located and use the Roku directly. Great sound for a small room and it will get very loud. The controls for the Treble, bass, and SW work get and makes the sound full and easy to listen to. The wireless for me works flawlessly. I love this sound bar,

This product worked well. However, there was a setup problem. The instructions did not tell you to hook up both the optical and MIDI cables. Otherwise a great product with good sound qualities.

These sound great, I will add the wireless surround.
My only complaint are a few features I've not been able to get to work.
Wireless remote on Samsung note, it doesn't find speakers.
Wireless connection and sound transfer is a bit confusing or doesn't work.

As always a good price for a great product. Perfect size for our bedroom. Purchased this particular model because we can add wireless surround speakers at a later date to this system. I purchased the 'big brother' to this model a few years ago for our living room and love it. I knew I wouldn't go wrong with this one.

I purchased this soundbar with sub woofer because my Samsung needed to volume up till 50 in able to hear a good sound so I decided to put a soundbar and I didn't regret I got this soundbar because the sound quality is great and no need to full volume. It's so easy to set up. I highly recommend this product.

I've only had the sound bar and sub woofer for a month or so but the sound is incredible for such a small device. We have an open layout family room which goes into the kitchen. The family room is also a two story open space which connects over the stairs to the foyer. So sound has always been challenging. This system does the job and more. It's also BT compatible and the sub woofer is wireless. Highly recommend it!

I got this for my master bedroom and it's awesome! I have a Samsung Smart Tv so it was very easy to set up via Bluetooth. I like the different sound settings ( standard, music, sports, movie..ect) that can be controlled by the nice small remote. The bass and treble can be adjusted from the remote. The Subwoofer was also easy to sync to the soundbar and can be adjusted from-6 to +6 . I don't really hear or feel the bass when watching tv shows , but if I watch a music video or a movie the has bass I can really feel it.
It has a surround sound feature but it's not true surround sound. I bought a set of samsung rear speakers that are compatible with the soundbar to get a better surround sound feel. They are also wireless and were easy to sync up. ( swa-8000s rear speaker kit)
Overall it's a nice addition to my TV and I'm very happy with my purchase.

I had an old flat panel TV with the speakers in the back and it was wall mounted. I would keep turning up the volume to be able to hear it. Just got a new TV and was convinced by the sales person to go with the sound bar system. The price was reasonable so I said why not. Very glad I did it makes all the difference in the world, I can hear everything, the set up was easy and I like the sleek design.

I bought this sound bar to go with my 4k UHD Smart TV and I am not experienced in any kind of AV/speaker hook-ups prior to this. It was so simple! Everything worked the way it was supposed to with minimal input from me and everything I needed was supplied. It sounds good, it stays connected, and it's controlled through my TV remote. It works great. I would definitely recommend it.

I bought this to use with my new Samsung 50" 4K Smart TV. At first I used the optical cable to use it, then tried the bluetooth just to see how well it worked. I ultimately went to HDMI to be able to set it up to be controlled by my cable remote. All the connection types worked equally as well, but had to go HDMI ARC for volume control via that cable remote.

I love this soundbar with the wireless subwoofer. It came with all the necessary mounting hardware ad a digital audio cable. It plugged into my Samsung Smart TV and the TV immediately linked it to the system.

Since I purchased my Samsung Smart TV almost a year ago, the sound quality has been very good, yet, for a 4K UHD TV I always thought the quality should be much higher. I finally decided to purchase the Samsung HW-K450 Sound bar and I am so glad I did. The set up was extremely easy and once I plugged in the sound bar and the sub-woofer, they automatically synced together via the blue tooth feature. All I needed to do was to acknowledge the Smart TV on screen prompt and then select the sound effect mode. It has excellent movie sound and bass and is exactly what I was looking for. I only wish I had purchased it much sooner !

We've had trouble with this soundbar and cannot return it because of Best Buys short return policy of 15 days. We were shown this soundbar at Best Buy as a surround sound replacement if we bought the wireless rear speaker kit also (also very disappointing). The Best Buy display had great bass and sounded way better than ours does. There is hardly any bass on this soundbar and the audio doesn't match the video. Music doesn't sound very good from this soundbar. The sound cuts out from time to time while watching TV and we can't find anything wrong with the connections so it must be something internal.

For the price this sound bar performs better than some costing hundreds more. I replaced a Pinnacle system with this bar and the performance is much better, and the Pinnacle system cost $150 more.

1. the Optical Cable will not fit into the sound bar or the Samsung TV. Both ends tried multiple times with no success.
Unit will not power up. Battery is installed correctly and has good charge. Remote will not activate unit nor will the end panel power switch turn the unit on.
