We wanted this to hear our TV better and after trying one way to install, we ended up using the optical cable to install and it works great. The product is a good value and not too confusing to set up.

This little bar produces some fantastic sound!! So easy to hook up to my tv and mount on my wall....took about 6 minutes total!! Sound quality is excellent.

Samsung will not disappoint .This sound bar has great features and awesome sound.I am buying one for the bed room.The price is great for the sound this puts out.It has the quality to fill a large great room with the built in subwoofer.The sleek design does not block the power on and off on our Samsung 4K tv.I would recommend this sound bar to any one wanting a bang for your buck!

I bought this product for my father. Everything about this product is great, except there is a problem with the speaker cutting off every now and then. We never had this problem with our regular television speakers until we hooked this product up. Other than that, this product works really well and my dad loves it!

Love the ease of the installation. I'm a 71 year old great grandma and I wanted a better sound for my bedroom tv. I have a Samsung sound bar on my living room tv and love it, so I decided to get a smaller one for the bedroom. I found the HW-250! What a joy it is to use and the sound is amazing! Thanks Samsung!

Like the title says, this soundbar is much more than I expected.
The sound is dynamic for its size, and has distinct *adjustable* bass within the sub-woofers. Where I have the bass set now is just enough to be distinctively noticed and doesn't rumble whatsoever. And the sound separation is also superb.
My 16 speaker Mits died, so I grabbed a 4K UHTV, and with this soundbar, I'm more than happy.

Set is was basically "simple". However, making the bar recognizable to my "smart TV" took more time to complete than it should have. It could have been me and my lack of technology. Required the assistance from Samsung support and then it was just a little tedious. Otherwise, it now brings the TV sound from the back of the unit "out front" for more enjoyable listening. I prefer products made by SAMSUNG. In addition, I own three (3) TV's.

Works great as enhancement or replacement to my TV speakers. It also is a center speaker for my A/V Unit via the AUX port. I was informed that the volume control of my A/V Unit would not control the volume of the Sound Bar, but it does. I also was able to program the Sound Bar into my programmable remote. Could not be happier.

Purchased this soundbar to pair with the KS9000 and was very easy to setup, it actually took about 5 minutes. Sound is great. It took me a while to figure out the setting which turns the soundbar on and off when I turn on the television with my Fios remote, but I finally got it after several tries. You need to use the soundbar remote for mute and volume.

The Sound Bar has to be restarted if you turn TV off for more than 30 min. Not active 24/7. You have to pick up another controlled to start Bar.

Visitor: Every morning I need to select the Power Button to have the Samsung HW-1250 operate. How can the sound bar remain active 24/7?
Manish J: Have you connected the sound bar to your TV?

Manish J: Are you turning off the TV frm wall outlet?
Visitor: No. I simply press a button off on the TV, and do not touch the Soundbar. The nice light on the sound bar remains on. But several hours later with the light still on I turn on the TV. And then have to hit the power button on the HW-1250 to have a sound.
Manish J: On which port have you connected the sound bar?
Visitor: The 'Audio Cable' connected 24/7.
Manish J: I have checked the information and found that the Samsung sound bar will turn itself off when there is no input for more than 30 minutes.
Manish J: We cannot change the built in features of the sound bar.
Manish J: Had there been any options I would have definitely assisted you with that.
Visitor: No way at all to keep it up 24/7? Is there an option?

The soundbar has no external subwoofer, but still maintains very deep and satisfying bass. It makes dialogue intelligible and easier to understand, Controls are a little confusing, but we figured it out. Overall this keeps my wife happy.

I brought this soundbar so that I could have more of a home theater feel when I watch movies. It turned out the be the best decision I could have made. It is perfect because I live in an apartment so it gives a surround sound throughout my apartment.

Beware that when you select your TV setting to "External Speakers" you will not be able to control the volume of the Soundbar with your TV remote, you will have to use the Soundbar remote. Two remotes to operate your TV...silly!

Booklet has extra fine (Micro) Print. Not very user friendly for us older folks.
Trial and error connecting it to the 55" TV. I can say it does make sound.
Not sure about the Blue Tooth, feature.
Could not get it to share remote controls even with Direct TV.
Some features appear not to be available, grayed out on the TV Screen.
At the time of purchase the store clerk was not sure what sound bar would be beneficial; more or less a throw of the die. I Lost!

Overall the sound bar is standard samsung quality. Produces good sounds and looks very nice with my TV. Only thing it's missing are inputs. Restricted to optical and Bluetooth is restrictive but livable

This soundbar meets all of my expectation as far as price, size and performance. It has great sound for a small unit--excellent bass and treble. My only reservation is not about the unit, but about the setup and instructions/manual. Very confusing and lacking in detail. Eventually, I was able to figure things out and get the unit configured properly. This soundbar works very well with my Samsung 60-inch plasma TV.

I was a bit skeptical about buying this sound bar due to its size and internal sub woofer. I was pleasantly surprised by the crisp, well tuned sound given the sound bar size. The Bluetooth feature is great. I was watching a movie on my tablet, kindle, or even my phone as well as the tv. The switch from device to device s flawless and the equalizer from muis to movie to 3d, sounds amazing. The light portable size is great for bbq, and chilling at home. This was a great addition to my current tv, blue ray system.

Sound is great for a bedroom or other small room. I like the simulated surround effect. Overall very happy with the sound bar.
The instructions on how to set and adjust could be better. But after sitting down and playing with it I figured it out.
One thing that was not mentioned is if your TV doesn't have "Sound Share" it wont pair up to the wi-fi in the soundbar. I had to go with an Optical digital out cable connection and had to play with more settings to get the sound delay to sync with the picture.
I would recommend this soundbar to a friend. Then I would go over and help them set it up.

This speaker is replacing my Sony receiver that went and I'm disabled so tearing my system apart wasn't going to happen. I don't want to replace my spekers because they are fine, just don't have anything driving them. So I thought that Maybe I'd try this hoping it would do well enough till I can get some help. To my surprise this speaker works great! It's got more than enough features and is extremely versatile. Digital in is Directv and aux is my tv dongle and I still have Bluetooth free for all the portable devices or anything else I migh want to hear in a hurry.

Very good choice for an entry level sound bar. If you're looking to just improve sound quality from your TV speakers, this is a great choice. If you want true theater sound, go to an upgrade. The built in woofer is an improvement over the TV speakers but does not deliver like the more upscale units. Then again this unit isn't meant to. It's for people just like me who want improvement but are not looking for high tech audio. It's perfect for bedrooms and small rooms. Not powerful enough for a large room but like I said, it's an entry level product. Another great feature is it can sync with your TV to turn on and off. The set up was a little tricky but be patient, you'll get there. I did and I'm a low tech guy.

This hwj-250 Samsung soundbar was just what my new Samsung 32" smart tv needed to improve the sound quality. Took about 5 min. to hookup and the sound is awesome compared to the tinny tv speakers. Hooked it up using the supplied optical cable and it is very cool. Dig it!

I was looking for a simple sound bar to go along with my Samsung TV and this is nice. Easy to setup and operate. The best thing is it is not too loud nice complimentary sound along with the TV Speakers. Price was very reasonable and it looks good on my TV Stand right under the TV.
